Trap music is a genre that started to gain momentum through the popularity of the dance music culture. EDM Trap Music as some may call it has emerged primarily from the south. The genre is filled with a hard attitude and its loud kicks, snappy snares and low end 808 bass samples.
Trap music really began to blossom after Baauer's “Harlem Shake” meme went viral. With artists such as Flosstradamus, RL Grime, Baauer, Bro Safari and Yellow Claw ‘running the trap' scene, the Trap subreddit has predicted the up and coming trap artists in the 2016 year.
