It is with a heavy heart that we must share the sad news that the DJ/producer Sound Remedy is retiring from music.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that 2016 will be my final year playing shows,” Sound Remedy wrote. While it's not clear why Sound Remedy is retiring, he wrote a heartfelt message about thanking his fans throughout his career.
“First off and by far most importantly, I want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting me and helping me achieve my primary life goal of becoming a successful musician. Thank you for sharing my music, attending my concerts and spreading positive vibes with me on my journey through music and life. I can’t thank every single one of you enough for helping me turn my burning desires and dreams into reality over the course of these past 6 years.
Even though my mom doesn’t use the internet or own a computer she has been the single most supportive and inspirational person in my life and nothing I do would be possible without her so thank you mom. Thank you to all my siblings and my dad as well, even though he said I wouldn’t make it in music (painful medicine but just what the patient needed). Huge thank you to my Grandma Sarah who has always guided me with great wisdom and who has just always made me feel good about myself. A special thank you to my former and only manager Ziggy Chareton, who pretty much taught me every single thing about the music industry and without his guidance and help none of this would have been possible. He also helped me maintain good physical and mental health throughout my musical journey. Thanks to my former agents and all the promoters who booked me. Thanks to all the college kids who have had me play their parties over the years.”
