Many big name electronic artists have utilized unique stage set ups to create a different experience for their audience. Deadmau5 had “The Cube” which he has since updated. Meanwhile Porter Robinson has what his fans like to call “the glass table of feels” allowing everyone to see his “Worlds” visuals through most of his set up, Flume created his own stage for his “Skin” tour, and Dillon Francis played on “The Gary” for his “Money Sucks, Friends Rule” tour.
It's not a gimmick. These different stages truly create diverse experiences for fans, which has been why other artists continue to create artful stage designs. Most notably, a recent rising star from Monstercat known as Karma Fields teased his set up for his to be announced live show, “The Hex” — a 360° set up that can be viewed from any point around.
A 20′ wide, 18′ deep and 11′ tall set up, Karma Fields will unconventionally play at The Hex's center. And with Karma Fields being an audio/visual music project based on the story of an evolving AI (Artificial Intelligence) The Hex will be a real life representation of the world that Karma Fields has created through his Music Videos. Watch the teaser trailer below to witness the first and (currently) only glimpse at The Hex.
Regarding the music that will be played, Karma Fields will play newly produced live versions of his debut album “New Age | Dark Age” that will be much more energetic for dancing. Karma Fields will also be releasing new music, however, no dates have been announced right now so we at EDM Sauce will keep you updated because the live show will reportedly debut this year.
