Following the rumor that Kygo collaborated with U2 on a brand new unreleased song, Kygo had the opportunity to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
In the past few years, the Norwegian DJ has made quite the name for himself. On January 21st, Kygo sold out Barclays Center in New York City. Also in the 2015 year, Kygo was named the most Shazamed artist of 2015 and the fastest artist to hit one billion streams on Spotify.
To perform his biggest show yet, Kygo performed his song “Carry Me” with guest vocalist Julia Michaels at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
