Keeping the airwaves relatively quite for the past 12 months, Downlow'd came back with a vengeance yesterday delivering a wild interpretation of Ellie Goulding's “Something In The Way You Move” record. This “spark” to Downlow'd career came at an opportune time as his social media has been on a tare recently with content that seems to be resonating well with his audience. When we asked Downlow'd why he took the leave of absence he said “I had gotten to a point where I felt like everything I was making wasn't representative of who I wanted to be. I had to distance myself… I needed time to produce, write, and discover my sound again. Time to get to a place where I could rediscover my relationship with Downlow'd as myself and a brand. Now I'm finally at a point where I'm truly happy with sharing my art. My team and I have over 20 pieces of work we are beyond excited to deliver and I honestly couldn't be in a better place musically than I am now.”
