SoDown released a dubstep banger titled “GTFU” and it’s everything you’d ever want out of a Pharoahe Monche’s “Simon Says” Remix. After messing around with the track for a couple of months during live sets, SoDown, went back in and added his own percussion, heavy bass, and various dubstep electronic elements. Check it out here. Also listen to his latest release “In My Spaceship” where galactic western meets trap/dubstep.
Hailing from Boulder, Colorado, SoDown (Ehren Wright) incorporates instrumentation into his bass-minded music. SoDown plays the saxophone, guitar, and a little bit of piano. His sound is influenced by an array of genres including hip-hop, soul, jazz, funk, and electronica. Like his DJ moniker suggests, SoDown, wants his music to communicate that everyone should live a fulfilled life, chasing and achieving their dreams despite what society dictates to be the right path. Furthermore, he wants to express that people should be open to new experiences. Stay tuned and check him out live at the The Bluebird Theater in Denver on October 27th. You can buy tickets to the event here.
