Sutra Closes Down in Southern California, Time Nightclub Opens

With great sadness, we have to say goodbye to Southern California's beloved nightclub, Sutra. To take its place, Sutra will be replaced by Time Nightclub after a long 13-year old run.

Time Nightclub opened its doors tonight with the help of Markus Schulz. The nightclub occupies the long-vacant former Niketown space.

The new $5 million nightclub will feature live bands, private corporate events, Top 40 DJs and EDM artists.

“We really want an upscale venue so that people won’t mind coming here and spending money and enjoying superior service and superior talent. With this venue, you can bring in some real top-tier artists,” said owner Richard Kelly.
