Remixes Everywhere
The Chainsmokers' and Halsley's hit single, “Closer” has been scoring high points on the charts over the past month, and with this, no shortage of bootleg remixes.
While we have your attention we may as well clarify seeing as many people get confused over the actual meaning behind the term “Bootleg”.
While it has evolved into a style somewhat of it's own, a bootleg remix is another word for “Unofficial”.

In fact, most of the remixes you've heard of the Chainsmokers‘ new track have been just that, bootlegged. Good News is, most if not all of them had been permitted on to stay on streaming sites as whitelisted.
