The Van Gogh Museum located in Amsterdam is planning its one-off collaboration with the DJ/producer Armin van Buuren.
On October 21, 2016, a special edition of the multimedia guide for museum visitors will be launched and will be titled ‘Embrace Vincent.'
If you go to the Van Gogh Museum in mid-October, you will be provided personal commentary and personalized music from Armin van Buuren himself.
The director of the Van Gogh Museum Axel Rüger said:
“This collaboration sees us bring music, art and the museum together. Each form of expression influences the other; culture works as a unifying force. The Embrace Vincent project allows us to highlight how Vincent’s legacy remains relevant. And more importantly, that this legacy is being passed down to future generations. This takes numerous different forms, as is aptly illustrated by this collaboration between the museum and Armin van Buuren.”
