Most Addictive Rolls Out Stellar Compilation ‘Reboot’

Bass music power house, Most Addictive, has lead the scene since 2011. Picking up records from some of the most recognized names in heavy music along the way. MA has hosted tracks from the likes of Dodge & Fuski, Krewella, Aphex and many, many more. Boasting an already impressive repertoire, the team at MA has decided to pour gasoline on their already wild burning fire with the release of their newest compilation EP Reboot.

Reboot is an absolutely mental collection of head banging dubstep from the brightest up and comers in the game right now. The compilation features the production of Brig, Chime, Rob Gasser, Prismatic, Zetta & Wavemode, and Guillotine – all names you should begin to familiarize yourself with if you have yet to discover them. The EP, although rooted in dubstep, oozes power, melody, and passion. Making it a top contender in the battle for support from the big names. Grab your copy HERE

Of the talent gathered for this release, Rob Gasser stands out as an act trying to push the limits. His song “Adrenaline” is a choice fusion of DnB and Progressive melodies, sending listeners on a vitalizing journey. Full of vigorous energy, Gasser's record incorporates fast shifting drums and mind bending digital sound design. I was able to ask him a few questions and snag an exclusive mini mix you'll only hear on EDMSauce.com. Check it below:

How has your sound evolved over the past 2 years?

Honestly I think it has been fairly consistent over the last 2 years hahah. I am currently in the process of diving into clubbier sounds though.

How did it feel to get signed to NCS?

Getting Vertigo signed to NCS was a pretty great feeling! I'm glad that I get to work with NCS to release music to a wide audience.

You released “Adrenaline” on the Reboot compilation, what type of sound did the song have when you first drafted  it out and how did the song grow and change into the final release?

Originally I wanted Adrenaline to have a “harder” drop, but I started out with the piano riff. After some trying around, I decided to take a more melodic approach, which worked out in the end, and that's how it came to be!

Had you heard of MA Music before this compilation?

Yes! I had known of them for a loooong time before the compilation hahaha, I actually released my track “Ark” which I did with Raider with them wayy back

What artist are you vibing right now?

Oh geez, that's a tough question.. If I had to narrow it down to a small selection of artists, it would definitely be OMNI, Oliverse, Ray Volpe and Soltan.

How many more releases do you plan to drop before the year ends?

I'm hoping to drop at least 2-3 more tracks depending on if I can finish any in time!

How many shows did you play this year?

As far as I can remember, I did a few local shows in Zurich, one show in Neuchâtel and one in Munich this year (Pretty much just Switzerland and Germany). I would definitely love to get booked in more places in the future though!

Any big plans for 2017?

So far I don't have many plans yet except for this album I've been working on (and scrapping alot) for the past year or so. But we'll see as time goes on 🙂
