Holy Moly, it seems like almost every day we are talking about trance producer and Anjunabeats new favorite Jason Ross. Mr. Ross has sprung into action in the last two years providing us with some of the most well produced, emotional trance anthems we have heard. While the Anjunabeats crowns have been held by Above & Beyond, Andrew Bayer, and Ilan Bluestone, Jason continues to knock on the door and solidify himself as one of the kings of the new generation of trance music. With consistent support from all of his label mates, the reach of his tunes has improved tremendously, and we expect to see his name much higher up on festival lineups in the upcoming season beginning in March with Ultra.
Earlier this week, Ross has teased the next track he will be releasing in addition to his already stellar repertoire, and as of Friday the official release has exploded onto the trance community. The new piece is entitled “Valor” and features almost perfect aspects in all facets of the song. From the powerful and progressive intro to the highs and lows of the build and drop, the track takes a major orchestral stance with its quality of chord combinations. A pumping baseline brings the track together, and the vocal samples tie the bow around this beautiful present we have been given by Ross. We expect the track to become a major cornerstone of not only Ross's future sets, but also many other trance giants. The piece was already played out by Above & Beyond at their biggest event of the year in ABGT 200, and the crowd reaction spoke volumes to the talent of the young producer.
