In case you missed it, Soundcloud have added a brand new feature to its’ interface with the introduction of a ‘Listening History’ tab. Located on a users’ homepage the ‘Listening History’ tab showcases what songs and artists a user has most recently listened to. The feature is comparable to Spotify’s ‘Recently Played Artists’ tab, and to be honest the feature has probably come a few years late. But hey, we’re still embracing it!
The feature can be found on the right hand side of the Soundcloud homepage, where you’re able to check the last three tracks that were played. If you’re looking to go deep in your listening archive, Soundcloud have given a more in-depth look with the ‘View All’ feature showcasing all the tracks you have recently played and artists that you have searched. And if you’ve been listening to a few guilty pleasures, you can clear your embarrassing listening history as well.
The new feature comes weeks after the news that Soundcloud revenue had increased by 43% this year. Could Soundcloud be making on the comeback?
