There are very few things that get me more excited than new music. When I saw that Savoy has new stuff coming out I was, well giddy is the only word I can think of. It has been since December of 2015 that Savoy has released music. The Wolf is the latest release from the greatest ERM (Electronic Rock Music) band there is. Savoy and Bright Lights come together to make yet another masterpiece. The Wolf is a thumping track that marches along with haunting guitar chords that set the backdrop for Bright Lights’ vocals to shine.
The wolf is a first look into the new EP, entitled “Tomorrow Today pt. 1”
With this record, we wanted to realize what our vision has always been. To marry our background in playing in rock bands with our love for electronic music. Using what we've learned with production and mixing, but focusing on the musicianship. Sitting down at the piano. Playing a drum kit. Picking up a guitar. It's all a lot more fun than staring at a computer screen. Additionally, this brings a human element to the fold that otherwise couldn't be created completely inside the box. The new EP is and ode to this and the first single, a collaborative piece between Savoy and vocalist Bright Lights perfectly encapsulates it. Savoy has realized for years that their live show should be, but today they realize their signature sound.
