Just in time for their North American tour, Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL has blessed our screens with the enchanting and hypnotic video to their “Innerbloom” from their latest album “Bloom”. This song takes a forefront stance for the album and the video latches itself to the responsibility of that position.
Bubbles and galaxy-like traveling images are a gift to the eyes in this masterpiece that almost puts you in a state of meditation, peace, harmony. “Innerbloom” is nothing like anything you've ever seen. As the song goes on, the journey shifts to geometric shapes and an array of flourishing colors that even the spectrum is jealous of. Ethereal and calming, its almost as if this video was meant to bring nothing but true happiness to the eyes and ears.
“Innerbloom” is a nine and a half minute trip and with the video attached, it will certainly leave you forgetting where you are by the end of it. The video is a meeting of some very artistic minds. The piece was directed by KATZKI, who is not new to RUFUS as he has directed some of their other Music Videos including, “This Summer” and “Sundream”. Art Direction is thanks to KATZKI and Jane Vanzet. The beautiful moving artwork that is “Innerbloom” also included the collaborative efforts of Ella Gibbons (Cinematography and Editing) and Yanni Kronenburg (Color Grading).
“Innerbloom” is a treasure of cinema-graphic art that only heightens our love for RÜFÜS DU SOL.
