This past weekend, EDM events and music dominated the Halloween landscape. Two of the events that brought in killer performances were Insomniac's Escape: Psycho Circus and Las Vegas's Marquee Dayclub. Eric Prydz, renown house artist, played sets at both.
The progressive house artist dropped his ID “Maximus” (named by his devoted fans) during Psycho Circus, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Yet, that wasn't the only unreleased track he blessed the EDM community with this weekend. Several more IDs were shot and uploaded to YouTube to keep us anxiously awaiting their release.
While the fourth track, “Forget the World,” is a bootleg of John Creamer and Stephanie K's original song, the other three may be album material. Prydz's Pryda side project is expected to be released in November, and we can guess that the IDs will be amongst some of the songs that Make Up the album.
The IDs also help us to gauge in idea of what the Pryda album may sound like. It is clear that a minimalistic and progressive approach is being taken in terms of the songwriting. However, the IDs seen below prove that while minimalistic, they still pack quite the punch.
User, 808coug, is responsible for uploading the four IDs you can listen to below. Check them out and get excited for the album release this month!
