This past weekend, one of the most well-known festivals took place in Florida. Branching off from Insomniac's EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando held it's 6th-year-anniversary festival. The famous festival was held at its usual venue, Tinkerfield, an outdoor baseball stadium. Taking place on November 4th and 5th, I took the opportunity to attend the festival and experience the greatness of it all.
Upon entering the festival, I was in awe with everything I had seen at that starting moments of my time there. The attractions, the stages, and, the scenery were done tremendously well. There were beautiful lights everywhere, it was impossible to get away from it.
The stage designs were remarkably beautiful and definitely enjoyable. NeonGarden, the trance stage, was set inside a circus style tent, filled with large amounts of LED screens and lasers. CircuitGrounds, otherwise known as the bass stage, surrounded the crowd with a whole 360-degree movement. Surrounded by speaker towers and colossal visuals, it was impossible for one to miss a second of what this stage had to offer. KineticTemple, the big man of the festival, was obviously the biggest out of the three. Holding the biggest firework shows, it also held the best audiovisuals, the brightest lights, and the best sound system. Each stage put you in a whole different world, there was no way you can compare one to the other. They all brought their own little piece to the table, there wasn't one better than the other.
The light show of each stage was spectacular; the lights really illuminated the stages and complimented each performance that had taken place. The audiovisuals were a big attention grabber at the festival; They were so lifelike, it seemed as if you can reach out and touch anything that had appeared on the stage.
Djs such as Porter Robinson, 12th planet, Above & Beyond, and much more didn't seem to fail when it came to taking the stages and providing powerful performances. Each performer had the crowd moving and partying their life away, even when the rain decided to take over.
Overall, the festival itself is one that no one should miss. Everyone should take at least one opportunity to visit this festival and enjoy the beauty around it. This festival does not fail to bring the great vibes and heart-pumping music that we all enjoy so much today.
