Out now and available to pick up via Quality Goods Records, which is run by bass maestro UZ, is “Poseidon”, the new EP from producer Champagne Drip. The US based artist has really stepped things up with this release, which spans four tracks in length.
Appearing first is “Return Harbor”, a contrasting sound that is thoroughly rich in production values and blends rhythmical and melodic elements with ease. The title track, which we caught in time for the weekend, is a real treat – packing in stunning synth and pad work alongside slow building tension. “Prometheus” is dark and stuttering, before “Ascension” adds a hint of D&B energy to proceedings with its crisp drum work.
Pick up “Posdeidon” here.
