Mall Grab has put a sultry touch on Kilo's ‘Walls To Build' in his latest release. The original was full of soul and already proper for dance floors but Mall Grab has infused the already stellar track with a new dimension of passion.
Mall Grab heavily filters the vocals of the original and bends them to a haunting level. The voices then merge with the deep piano chords in a way that is almost hypnotic. The piano chimes on as the vocals bend from regular singing to what eventually becomes just noise.
The track is beautifully basic. This is exactly what we love in a remix; an artist who took the soul of the original track, kept all the best parts but infused his own bit of brilliance to produce an exciting rework. While Kilo's version of the track was ready for the dance floor, Mall Grab's edit seems to have this magic ability to make the listener's brain wander.
