Sober Rob spent 2016 establishing himself as one to watch in the coming year, thanks to a number of successful releases and a style of his own. Today, he’s here a bouncy new original “Realize” featuring BLANDA. This single like many others, is a self release, showing the dance music community that labels are a thing of the past and good music can always shine through, regardless of the distribution. The young producer talked about what we can only assume as an arsenal of music including at least an EP–
“For a while I was releasing music as I made it but now I’m at the point where I feel like I’ve created something bigger than just one song at a time. I think people will start to see the bigger picture in what I’m trying to do over the next few months”
One thing is for sure, what we are seeing is the beginning of the next wave of cool hip “Do it yourself” producers the likes Ohsi, Kaytranada and more are about to induct their 2017 class, and Sober Rob looks to be at the forefront of that movement.
