Deamau5 and Shotty Horroh Release “Legendary” Part of Their Hip Hop Collaberation

Deadmau5 has been busy with his latest project: hip hop. Released a few days ago was another collaboration with Shotty Horrah. Shotty, a Manchester based rapper recently released “Okay” with Zimmerman. The duo has been busy working on new material with “legendary” being the most recent tune.

“Legendary” is quick two-minute tune melding classic deadmau5 grime and bass with the relaxed vocals of Shotty. Shotty's two verse rap flows effortlessly against the electronic background. While “Okay” featured more vintage string samples, “Legendary” is the opposite. It features a lower bassline and overall darker instrumentals. Thus giving a quintessential deadmau5 vibe. Somehow he managed to throw a Donald Trump quote subtlety towards the end. Though it's a short track many are looking forward to what this side of deadmau5 will bring.

Zimmerman tweeted a few different times about what to expect and his admiration for “legendary”:
