Dark, although not deep, tribal yet still very mechanical, not bad at all for the once trance turned techno producer Michael Conway. A longtime member of scene, starting out as your typical LA vinyl crate digger, Conway eventually starting spinning and throwing his own parties in the bay area, making a name for himself with his slick mixing and concise productions. Although he has remained dormant for the past few years, his layover has not been in vain, as this new techno emergence could mark a creative awakening. “Too Far Gone” doesn't ever allow the moment to go dull, throwing in ear candy when needed and creating a classic warehouse atmosphere with ease. This is a guy who gets techno and doesn't seek to change it but rather add his own edition to table, and its a tasty one at that.
