If you think of bass music in 2016, one standout name would definitely be Herobust. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia or as he calls it the ‘Dirty South’, Herobust has been making waves in the world of bass music for years. While Herobust started over 7 years ago, his standout year was definitely 2016 with the release of his EP, ‘I’m Aloud'. The EP sent waves across festivals and Headphones around the world. From hits like ‘Skurt Reynolds’ to ‘Dirty Work’ you probably have heard a Herobust tune in at least one set. At the start of 2017 Herobust does not seem to show any signs of slowing down with the release of ‘Vertebreaker’ the first single off of his new EP.
The song starts off with the chanting of “Bang, Bang Yo Head” which is something you will most definitely be doing throughout this track. The production utilizes a unique structure that's driven by glass breaking samples, powerful bass kicks and a drop that will be sure to blow out your sub woofer. All of the vocals used throughout the song were recorded by Herobust himself and the sound design is original and creative, thus showing the diversity of the producer. If you needed a new anthem to headbang to this is definitely the track for you. You will no doubt be hearing it played out by your favorite dubstep DJ over the next few months. “Vertebreaker” is a intense dubstep banger that will leave you with a sore neck.
This track definitely goes hard and we over at EDM Sauce cannot wait to hear the rest of the EP!
