ARUNA
2017 will mark the beginning of many changes, but one that you can certainly count on is ARUNA‘s graceful progression into the realm of bass music. Last year's Monstercat single “Time To Say Goodbye” was a successful first step for the LA based singer, setting the stage for Canadian producer Inukshuk to run with this future flip of Start A Fire. Inukshuk has an impressive resume of tunes spanning from a slew of rousing and melodic originals and some big name remixes, most notably “Wait” from Adventure Club. With trappy percussion and shimmering, vibrant waves of synth and bass, Inukshuk's rework turns things up quite effectively. It's a poppy tune but it keeps its distance from the typical radio fodder and mixes famously with ARUNA's silky smooth voice. This is a short but very sweet track that brings out the best in both artists. Inukshuk's productions can clearly hang with the current industry elite and ARUNA continues to show that she absolutely belongs in this side of the musical galaxy.
