I have quite a few wishes for the music scene in 2017. One of my top wishes would be that drum and bass explode here in the United States this year. Helping to achieve this dream could be Bluescreens, a French drum and bass duo. Bluescreens have a track, “Bullet,” on the Viper Drum & Bass Annual 2017. Bullet was also selected as Insomniac’s Soundcloud “Track Of The Day” recently as well.
Bullet starts off with some excellent symbol work in a minute long build and explodes into a synth driven drum and bass track. The drop in this track is reminiscent of the Netsky remix of Rusko's “Everyday.” Bullet is a high energy dnb classic that will surely rock the UK, and hopefully help shed some light on this sometimes overlooked genre here in the US.
