Future bass. Hip hop. These are a few of my favorite things. So when you find an up and coming artist who combines to two almost exquisitely, I can't help but get excited. This excitement stems from SUBFER's newest track “After All,” featuring Yandi & Cameryn.
First featured on Artist Intelligence Agency, Wonderlust's Soundcloud a few days ago, the track is a great example of what a mesmerizing vocals, hip hop influence and billowing futuristic synths can create. Yandi is an upcoming 22 year-old American hip-hop artist and record producer from Carlsbad, California and lays his quick paced rap lyrics on the track, while Cameryn, a San Diego based singer-songwriter belts out a memorable hook all throughout the song.
If you haven't heard of the 19 year-old Chico State University student, SUBFER is definitely someone you want to keep your eye on. His style blends electronic future bass music with hip hop elements, which anyone can tell you usually is a combination for great, exciting EDM.
