Coming off of his long awaited project Alma, Guiseppe Ottaviani has released his anthemic and soaring “Loneliest Night” with the uniquely talented Tricia McTeague. G.O. is not afraid of 128 and Loneliest Night, released under Blackhole Recordings, carries an enlightening beat while also being forefront with its emotional side. The light, airy feel of the music is treated with the amazing tone of Tricia and the climax of this song is euphoric to those who appreciate the true sound of trance. Guiseppe says he has been getting “positive feedback” when he plays it live, which is no surprise given the diverse and broadly playable sound.
Alma is Guiseppe’s 3rd full-length album and is the follow up to his 2013 ‘Magenta’. Loneliest Night is the fourth track release on this turning point in Guiseppe’s career. “2 years of studio work, brainstorming and collaborating…” is what has gone into this album and you can just feel the blood, sweat, and tears through many of the songs. Guiseppe “is rediscovering his musical boundaries and experimenting with his sound” on this album and it’s a pivotal moment in the talented trance producer's career that we are lucky to witness. Alma features the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Christian Burns, and Kyler England; a true meeting of the minds. If Loneliest Night is like any of the other songs on the collection, it’s a true gem of an album through and through.
