A few weeks ago everyone collectively freaked the freak out when Calvin Harris was aimlessly driving around sunny LA listening to some unreleased music and posted it to Snapchat. One of the snaps had an unreleased track featuring Frank Ocean on the vocals playing in the background. Calvin then announced he had over 10 new tracks ready for release this year – and now just hours ago Calvin took to Twitter and went on an energetic rant about his excitement around his latest creations.
In 2017 I'm making music to make your soul happy !!!!

Calvin is not exactly the most consistent or enthusiastic Twitter user. His account will stay dead for weeks on end sometimes. So to see an explosion of excitement like the tweets below come out of no where is actually really exciting. There have been rumors that Calvin has stepped away from the pop style which helped in his explosion of popularity in favor of returning to the roots of his first album, ‘I Created Disco’.
Not feel good music. Feel INCREDIBLE music

More joyful music in 2017. I feel like it's missing from the world. And it was missing from my life. So I created it !!!!

Regardless of what style he went with we know that this music is going to be seriously impressive. Calvin stated that the music has all been recorded and he is now in the mixing stage of the tracks. He also said that he worked with some of the most talented artists of our generation. Who is he referring too? Nobody knows but everyone is guessing. As of now no new projects have hit the ASCAP library under Calvin’s legal name so let’s hope some more firm details are released soon. Check out all the tweets below.
So excited to share this with you !!! !! Can u tell
