The legendary French duo Daft Punk opened a pop-up shop in LA following their stellar performance with The Weeknd at the Grammy's this past week. The shop featured a “”part archival retrospective and part shopping experience,” decked with all things Daft Punk including life sized mannequins of the duo. Additionally instruments used in recording the “Get Lucky” and “lose Yourself To Dance” Music videos were on display. The clothing in the shop was a boutique collection of limited-edition styles from Gosha Rubchinskiy, Off-White, Enfants Riches Deprimes, Darkdron, Hervet Manufacturier, Han Cholo and more.
The Grand Opening featured performances from top dance music artists including Mija and Skrillex, and was attended by a wide range of high profile guests. Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson were among some of the guest that stopped by to browse the shops designer clothing racks.
There is only one more day to get your shopping in as the store close on the 19th at 5pm. So, if you are in the LA area get over to 8818 Melrose Avenue and check it out. It sounds like you are in for a real treat.
