So here we have another installment of EDM twitter Feuds. This time starring…actually not Deadmau5. Yeah surprising we know, but anyway this feud is between well…actually it is kind of complicated. It started as Jai Wolf disagreeing with Ghastly over a free speech issue. Then Zeds Dead chimed in. Then hours later, out of no where, Moe Shalizi, manager to Marshmello, Ghastly and many more, chimed in with a super aggressive tweet towards Jai Wolf. Moe insinuated much of Jai's success as a result of ‘Dick Riding Odesza'. He later deleted that, but not before it was screen grabbed. Agree or disagree with Moe's, you have to give the manager props for going to bat incredibly hard for his artists.
Shalizi then proceeded to exchange words with MUST DIE, CRNKN, and a myriad of fans. Honestly this entire thing was a bit of a dumpster fire, but we gotta be honest…A couple parties took this way to far. We captured some of the highlights below. We even included all the response tweets so you do not have to open multiple tabs to follow the conversation.
Ghastly, Jai Wolf, and Zeds Dead Exchange Some Words:
The freer the speech I preach the more I'm attacked by people who preach free speech – what is this hypocrisy I speak? #offended2017

you're complaining that you can't be edgy when you can use your large platform to do something good or call out real problems https://t.co/YvmXTEj3p6
— Jai Wolf (@JaiWolfx) February 25, 2017
@JaiWolfx people laughing at stuff is important too..
— ZEDS DEAD (@zedsdead) February 25, 2017
dude.. I'm fighting in the name of free speech, what is wrong with you? Free speech is in danger in America, that's a real life problem https://t.co/FaNKFdS4gy

.@Ghastly nice fans you got, are u gonna defend this it's freedom of speech too? the first amendment is not in danger trust me pic.twitter.com/sl7M4YvoAu

OKAY so this conversation goes on for a bit – Ghastly and Jai Wolf banter and take subtle jabs at each other a few times. A lot of fans chime in. The arguement centers around Ghastly making some quasi-offensive jokes, people getting angry – then Jai Wolf throwing shade that he hasn't used his large platform of free speech for something more constructive.
Moe Shalizi Shows Up and Gets Super Savage Like 4 Hours Later
Moe deleted his starting tweet so we feature it in a photo instead of embed –
The reality here is that most people don't follow @ghastly or others for them to call out problems. People follow to escape frm these things https://t.co/KYcsJTfNCC
