Just out on Epic Amsterdam (Sony Music Netherlands) is “Only One,” an awesome piece of work from Dutch producer OIJ. Having already gone viral last year with “Blinded,” this is a producer who makes high caliber music.
“Only One” features rapper Maydien on vocal hooks, and OIJ has said of the creative partnership: “It is my first collaboration with a rapper, and adds a very nice extra dimension to an already genre-bridging track.” The track definitely includes various musical influences, and is an infectious bass/trap hybrid; sharply rhythmical in all the right places.
