NVO has teamed up with Mallabel Music label-mate Eko Zu to deliver a genre bending throwback style tune as 1 of 5 installments on their The Signal EP. Their new hit titled “Shift Me” combines live instrumentation and electro vibes that reminds me of the old school Complextro house days circa summer 2012. The verses feature the disco influence of Eko Zu as well as their soulful vocals which is surprisingly a great contrast to the electro bass used by NVO in the drop.
NVO is a 4 piece electronic group that has been bringing the meaning of live music back to electronic dance music since 2010. The group of musicians uses guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers and whatever else they find to channel the funk and organic crafts all of their beats to formulate only the highest quality tech rhythms.
