Dada Life kicks of their 2017 North American “COMPOUND: EVOLVED” tour today, and EDM Sauce has the exclusive interview. We were lucky enough to chat with one of the members of Dada life, Olle Cornéer, to learn all about the tour, new music and festival season.
According to Olle, “this is going to be most amazing tour of all time.” The Swedish duo is notorious for encouraging crowd interaction, and if you’ve ever seen a Dada Life show you know what I mean. If you haven’t, we’re talking giant inflatable bananas, champagne showers and pillow fights galore.
But for this tour, Dada Life wants to take that crowd experience to the next level. This tour is “evolved” after all. The duo encourages their audience to get as wild and ugly as possible in they visit Dada Land.
“We want the audience to step into a new experience,” Olle said. “It’s going to feel like you’re in another county for the night.”
Though the full details of this new experience couldn’t be revealed, we know that hypnosis, banana basketball and even more pillow fights are involved. Some secret surprises will even pop up before, during and after the set.
Dada Life has always made sure that their audience feels included, and this time it’s no different.
“We want to blur the line between audience and DJ,” Olle said. “It’s not about going to see your favorite DJ, but rather all of us enjoying the music together.“
Dada Life is also excited to share a ton of new music they have been working on for the past 6 months.
On the tour, Dada Life will be joined by opening acts like LOUDPVCK, Arty and ARMNHMR.
