In the wake of what has become the deadliest mass shooting in american history, many organizations and communities have found ways to honor those lives that were lost. Across the city of Orlando, rainbow colored murals stand proud on the sides of buildings and other forms of memorials have taken shape. Although this memorial was unveiled a bit ago, it is still news worth sharing to our readers.
Orlando City Soccer Club is one of the newest teams to join the ranks of major league soccer having only played a couple of seasons on the MLS circuit. This season the team got a huge upgrade with the opening of their very own stadium in Downtown Orlando. The stadium is absolutely beautiful and adds a great deal of legitimacy to going to a game to support the team.
With the opening of the stadium designers and team officials announced a tribute to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub massacre. Section 12 of the stadium will permanently house 49 rainbow seats to act as a constant reminder of the tragedy that occurred on June 12th, 2016, and as a reminder to love and accept everyone for who they are. Below you can watch the video of the unveiling of this beautiful memorial.
