The talented group of artists that is Campsite Dream has just released their new track “Freak Me,” which is full of summery swing and deep house groove. They lay out their five musical guilty pleasures for us this week, and we're digging this line up.
1) Jennifer Paige – “Crush”
Apart from the fact that Crush is a fantastic song, it’s also the start of the Campsite Dream project. It’s obviously not the first song we ever made, but releasing this song changed a lot.
2) MGMT – “Kids”
The real summer vibe. This song always reminds us of hanging out at the beach when we were kids.
3) Calvin Harris – “Feel So Close”
We wouldn’t say this is a guilty pleasure, but this track is in our opinion the ultimate upbeat club track. Even though he released a lot of other good tracks in the meantime, this one is still stays one of our favorites.
4) Daft Punk – “Around The World”
Do we even have to say why? Well, Daft Punk is a household name in the world of electronic music and one of our main inspirations in starting to make electronic music ourselves. Not to mention the fact that they are faceless.
5) Jamiroquai – “Little L”
Just great singing-in-the-shower music. Love this.
