One of the biggest honors a musical act can receive is to perform on the famous Saturday Night Live television program. The program, running for over four decades, has feature performances from the biggest and best in music, never declining an act based on genre discrimination. This could not be more clear and distinct following an announcement from The Chainsmokers that they will be performing on the April 8th date of the show. Performing alongside celebrity host Louis C.K. the show is set to be one of the most talent filled shows to date, and electronic fans everywhere are overwhelmed with joy to see their genre being represented.

Since the announcement, it seems The Chainsmokers could not be happier to be apart of the show. Through social media they have showed off their happiness and gave away details that they will be performing new music from their upcoming debut album on the show. That album is set to be released the day before the performance on April 7th. Make sure to stay locked to NBC on April 8th for one hell of a performance and what is set to be a great show from the SNL cast.
