Mau5trap is taking over electronic music at an incredibly quick pace. Their label boss Deadmau5 is easily one of the greatest electronic musicians of all time. They have helped give life to countless superstars from Skrillex to Madeon. Now they're up and coming acts are making waves of their own with artists such as Rezz and ATTLAS starting to embark on international tours with full critical acclaim.
Now the label is dropping a stunning compilation with the sixth edition of their hallowed ‘We Are Friends' on Friday. The tracklist is full of hot new tracks from all the names you would expect. Some of the most notable are Deadmau5 and ATTLAS' ‘bad at titles' as well as newcomer Black Gummy's VIP of his dark anthem ‘Descent'.
One of the more unexpected tracks is from Rinzen. ‘Renegade' is a powerful effort from an artist who is relatively unknown on the scene. You might recognize his name from his official remix of Giogio Moroder, but now the artist has come into his own with beautiful original production.
