Last week we reported that the latest Mau5trap compilation ‘We Are Friends Vol. 6' was dropping in just a few days. Over the weekend we got the first listen and we are happy to say that this might be the label's best release yet. We highlighted particularly special releases from the likes of Deadmau5, ATTLAS, Black Gummy, and newcomer Rinzen.
Label boss Deadmau5 dropped two new explosive tracks that you absolutely must hear. First and foremost his collaboration with ATTLAS – ‘bad at titles' is an almost nine minute techno fever dream that will leave you wanting more the second it hits completion. ‘Polaris' is more in style of what you might more commonly expect from the Mau5 man. It is full of rich chord progressions influenced beautifully by uplifting synths which fly in at the perfect time.
The other stand out we have to mention is Black Gummy's VIP of his savage dark cut ‘Descent'. Some how the label newcomer was able to charge up the intensity even further than the original.
