Earlier today, Insomniac released the official trailer for its flagship festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas.
Going into its 21st year, EDC has grown into one of the (if not THE) biggest electronic music festivals in North America.
After a successful 20th anniversary celebration last year, EDC is calling people of all over to join them in their annual celebration with their slogan “All Are Welcome Here”.
The trailer starts off depicting the harsh realities of our world that people from all walks of life face today. The unsettling day-to-day struggles seem to wash away as the Las Vegas skyline comes to view offering an escape from reality.
The five-minute-long video shows what EDC has to offer; from multiple carnival rides, weddings, firework shows, creative costumes and of course the massive stages to dance the night away (they even throw in a nod to the fire that broke out at Basspod last year).
The trailer pulls at your heartstrings at the end, showcasing the immense scale of the festival; a world where people are carefree, dancing, laughing and enjoying life under the electric sky. As Pasquale Rotella narrates, “…these moments live on inside us and help us realize we are not alone.”
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from June 16-18. You can purchase tickets here.
