Johnny Yono live @ Exchange LA
If you're a hardcore trance lover, then it's inevitable that you've heard of Johnny Yono. He's been among the most consistently proper and faithful trance producers throughout the last few years, releasing acclaimed tracks on nearly every giant imprint in the business, including Perfecto Fluoro, FSOE, and recently A State Of Trance. His sophomore tune on Kyau & Alberts Euphonic label, “The Inevitable Goodbye” shows that Yono can be majorly uplifting and doesn't need to be at 138 bpm to do it. Emotion pours out of this tune, with a melody that truly hits home. Where although there's a slightly melancholy undertone it remains glimmering with hope and elation. Like all of Johnny's productions, its dense with little details, like the wavy, swelling vocals leading into the breakdown or the tear jerking piano notes that accompany the outro. I fell in love with this track instantly and it shows off Johnny's insane abilities as a producer, for even though we're used to his dark and thrashing blend of progressive ferocity, he clearly too has a bright side, and it may be one of the brightest out there in the entire genre.
