Calvin Harris has been a busy man so far in 2017. He initially set the world on fire with the release of his collaboration with Frank Ocean and Migos – ‘Slide'. The song was both critically acclaimed as well as a chart topper. Mostly lauded for it's laid back summer vibes which featured a return of Calvin in the purest form and sultry vocals from Mr. Ocean.
‘Heatstroke' was a hyper collaboration with Pharrell, Young Thug and Ariana Grande. The track we called a return to the style of old school hip hop but unfortunately fell short of most expectations. It was a busy song and in turn came out sounding like a popped up fever dream.
Now Calvin has taken to Snapchat to announce that Part 3 in this feel good, summer inspired series is due out any day now. We have to assume that Friday we will see another new single from Calvin, who has been one of musics hardest working men so far in 2017.
