We have waited for as long as we possibly could to go live with this story holding out, hoping for an official word from the music festival itself. So before you read any further please understand nothing is official until the festival itself comes forward with an official statement. We are going to stick 100% to what we know in this article and not shoot towards conjecture like many other sites have.
It has also been reported by a few sites that a social media blackout has occurred for Mysteryland USA since the beginning of April. This is false, and we are not sure how sites have reported something so clearly not true.
That being said today the artist Ekali who was scheduled to perform at Mysteryland USA this year said on Reddit that he was told the festival has been canceled. You can find the entire thread through this link. The below picture shows the statement.
Mysteryland USA has had an issue with a PR firm leaving the festival and they have since been working on a replacement. This could be the reason behind the lack of response from the festival on this subject matter. Ekali is a reputable source as he was in fact on the line up for 2017. We will update you when more FACTS are available on this story or when an official announcement has been made.
