Everyone's favorite animated band, Gorillaz, announced this morning that they will be touring North America in 2017. The “Humanz Tour” is the band's first tour in seven years. The tour follows Gorillaz latest album, also titled “Humanz”, which is set to be released on April 28th. The “Humanz Tour” kicks off in Chicago on July 8th, and will hit a total of 17 total venues and festivals.
Fans will once again witness Gorillaz animated members; 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel hit the stage. Real-life members Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, will be sharing the stage with their animated creations, as well as other artists who make appearances on thew new album. Some of these names include Danny Brown, De La Soul, D.R.A.M., Grace Jones, Kelela, Vince Staples, Popcaan, and Pusha T.
