It's no secret that the famed Drummer can produce. With writer credit on a number of the Pendulum tunes and most of the Destroid (ones) KJ Sawka is much much more than your standard drummer. Unity Of Purpose is KJ's first release in 5 years and oh does he bring the heat.
The EP is packed with face pounding dubstep and melodic breakdowns leaving every listener in an euphoric state looking for more. The strings in “Face Crack” come from his younger brother (can you say musical family) and the drop in “The Time has Come” has roots and vibes of early Destroid Tunes.
Monster, featuring Emilia Sosa shows off a side of KJ we haven't seen before but want more of, a vocal driven record with perfect drums and a synth that lends the listener to fall through a vortex of time; it's no wonder why we are so hyped on this EP.
Take a listen and see for yourself.
