King's Day (Koningsdag) may as well be the best party of the year in Netherlands. On April 27th, the Netherlands unites to celebrate King Willem Alexander's birthday. Throughout the country, residents can attend flea markets, fairs, street parties and music shows.
On the eve of King's Day, thousands of people gather in The Hague and other cities to celebrate the special day with the help of some of their more popular musicians. As many of the world's top DJs come from the Netherlands, here is how they have been celebrating the big day.
