Henry Fong gave the electro house treatment to “Ganja” by Bugle x Shaggy. Originally this tune was a fusion of dancehall and dubstep, keeping a chill vibe to it. Enter Henry Fong. The pace is reminiscent of reggae lyrically, while it keeps up with the electro house beat. The additions he added to this track pull it to the level of songs one would expect to hear in a dance club. Most notably with this remix is that it does not take away from the root sound of the original track. You still get the reggae, dancehall vibe with the addition of mild electro house elements.
While Henry Fong doesn't have any events coming up soon, Shaggy will be at Hangout Festival in May. Hopefully we'll hear this remix out in the wild soon! In the mean time, give the tune a listen below!
