How to cancel your Spotify subscription
Spotify claims to have premium sound quality, playlists for any moments, and the ability to help you find great new artists through their 30 million song database. If you're reading this, we can assume that you've found a better streaming service.

- Go to Spotify's homepage – you can be on your Desktop, iPad, or iPhone.
- Click on Log in.
- Enter your account username and password.
- Click on Log In.
- Click on your username.
- Click on account from the drop down menu.
- Click on subscription from the left-hand menu.
- Click on cancel your subscription.
- Click on the reason you are leaving Spotify.
- Click on continue.
- Click on Cancel My Subscription.
- Enter your password again.
- Click on Cancel My Subscription.
Your paid subscription has finally been cancelled. If you still have time left on your premium Spotify subscritpion, Spotify will let you use your account until the time runs up. After that, your Spotify account will remain active, but it will be switched to a free Spotify account.
Does Spotify save my information if I cancel?
Spotify does indeed save your information. All of your Spotify playlists and settings from your premium account will be saved for three months.
What's different on the free version of Spotify?
The free version limits you to shuffle play and have no control over the order in which your songs play. Also, it's been rumored that free Spotify accounts will no longer have access to new music. The paid Premium version of Spotify adds in high-quality audio, an ad-free experience, the ability to listen to your music when you're offline and unlimited skips. Still want to cancel?
