For his next gig, Diplo is readying himself to get in front of the camera after signing a contract with Next Management, a modeling agency in New York.
Apparently, Diplo is thrilled to have signed with Next Management as he has “always wanted to be a supermodel.”
The DJ, music producer and record label head, said “with the worlds of fashion, music and wider visual culture growing closer, I want to explore a new world of creativity and am thrilled to sign with Next Management who understand what I represent and where I want to be.”
Next Management is a modeling and talent agency founded in 1989 by Faith Kates. The modeling agency has close ties with America's Next Top Model and represents some of the world's most talented models including Sara Albert, Beatriz Santana, Lucky Blue and Sam Evans.
“We, at Next Management, have a huge appreciation for those who use their gifts to affect culture in a positive way,” Next founder Faith Kates said. “As fashion is representative of the collision of all pop cultures, we are…confident that Diplo's insight into culture and prowess in music will resonate with brands.”
