80,000 people have been forced to clear out of Rock AM Ring in Germany today (June 2nd). Earlier today, police received a “concrete” terrorist threat on the venue where Macklemore, System of a Down, Machine Gun Kelly and Liam Gallagher are scheduled to perform.
The Facebook post reads:
Due to a terrorist of the police has the organizer from rock am ring as a precautionary measure, the festival need to interrupt provisionally, also in the event area in order to allow for investigations. This is why all the visitors were invited to the festival grounds, controlled and calm in the direction of outputs and campsites to leave.
Apparently, instead of fleeing from the scene, festival attendees were singing as they fled out of Nuernburgring Stadium.
