DJ/producer, Diplo, is one of the most famous producers in the electronic era. Not only does he perform by himself, but he is also part of DJ trio group, Major Lazer. Fame has its perks, but with those perks comes with constant traveling. Recently, Diplo shared with GQ Magazine about his constant travels, amenities, and his likes and dislikes about traveling.

Diplo admitted that during a year life span, he manages to travel across the globe about 320 days. Constantly performing, traveling, and maintaining his personal life has allowed him to become a little picky when it comes to the hotels he stays at. Truthfully, Diplo dislikes when his hotel room is carpeted due to the odors that carpets are likely to contain. He also tends to lack sleep and treats it with the help of smoking pot whenever it is available. Lastly, he explains that he is very cautious when it comes to the foods he eats so he can prevent himself from catching any illness, especially during a performance.
Diplo also revealed that he has had diarrhea hit in the middle of his set before “You have to get through it. You’re like in Vegas or something and… whatever. It’s the worst. You just have to concentrate, get it done. I’m a soldier. [laughs]”
