Since Diplo began DJing and producing music back in 1997, Diplo has been heavily influenced by rap and hip hop so its a bit of a mystery why he's never worked with Drake. Well now it turns out that he has.
In an interview with The Whoolywood Shuffle, Diplo revealed that he has in fact collaborated with Drake. “I texted him some ideas. Every once in a while he always hits me up. We did a demo for his project that didn’t make the album, but, I’m always down for Drake,” Diplo said. “He's like one of my favorite current artists right now.”
During the same interview, Diplo also revealed that XXXTenacion leaked their collaboration “Looking for a Star” before he even had the chance to mix it. Check out the interview below.
